Actually it belongs to a sculptor named Mike. Saw it parked on Hampshire Ave.
It’s covered with 400 pounds of seashells. Some of the varieties are: Tiger Clam, Hammerhead Oyster, Florida Sand Dollars, Calico Scallops, Haitian Tree Snail, Paua Abalone, and Star Limpet.

Some have been cut with a tile saw. They’re glued to the car with waterproof silicone caulking.
The artist says people smile when they see Shell Car. I sure did.
Turns out the Shell Car is for sale! You can learn more at http://www.EvolveArts.com.
And what kind of gas do they use?
