Clinker bricks are bricks that got too close to the flame in the kiln, and came out expanded and misshapen.
They can be seen in Chinatown, also in the first floor of some Victorians in Pacific Heights, the Fillmore, and other neighborhoods.
They give a building a unique texture.
Sometimes it takes a crane to put another crane where it needs to go.
I gotta get one of these things. Don’t know where I can park it though.
This is the base of the crane that will be used to construct this building.
Strive on, comrades; the struggle is glorious.
