Homes for Gnomes

This is a site-specific sculpture, all made of willow branches, at the Palo Alto Art Center.

This is the artist, Patrick Dougherty. He has done over 200 installations all over the world. He’s doing one a month for the next six months. Nice work if you can get it. You can see more of his work here.

A crew helps him do the work.

View from the rear.

The view from inside.

I could live there. If things don’t turn around, I may have to.

The raw material.

The installation will be here through January 2012, at which time it will presumably be mulched.
