The High Line is a park in New York City. In 1847, a rail line was put into the west side of Manhattan to service factories, warehouses, etc. Many accidents happened, and in 1929, an elevated railroad was constructed, making things safer. As time went on, more deliveries were made by truck, and the High Line went unused. It was turned into a park, which opened in 2009.
